Vision. Growth. Opportunity.
The evolution continues.

Today, Metrics has come full circle in its evolution as a full–service pharmaceutical development and commercial manufacturing company. Our vision has been realized. Now, we’re ready to create even greater opportunities for you.

Metrics’ new 47,000 square foot facility addition has doubled our state of the art pharmaceutical operations and made it possible for our clients to keep their development and commercial manufacturing projects with the same company. The very same company they already rely upon for accuracy, timeliness and the highest standard of professionalism and expertise. Simply bring us a well characterized API and Metrics can deliver one–stop development from initial formulation through Phase I, II, and III clinical materials and final commercial production—all within the same facility.

As part of Metrics’ long–term growth strategy, this expansion has allowed us to increase our staff, adding at least 50 pharmaceutical scientists and technicians, among them additional industry veterans with the experience to oversee projects from conception through completion.

Let’s take a look at this new state–of–the–art facility...and find out what it means for you and the success of your projects.

Today, over 90,000 square feet of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing space in Greenville, North Carolina is fully operational, fully qualified and stands ready to handle your project.

At Metrics, we’ve expanded the following critical areas:

  • Four analytical laboratories
  • Seven large scale manufacturing and packaging rooms for Phase III clinical trial and commercial manufacturing
  • Stability storage
  • Microbiology laboratory

Our new analytical laboratories have increased our analytical space by 25% and boosted our capacity for service by 40%. Also new is a dedicated laboratory which increases our capability for handling cytotoxic and potent compounds. This custom engineered facility offers unmatched flexibility in the handling of these materials.

Our expanded manufacturing space has increased our Phase III clinical trial material and commercial manufacturing 20–times. We can now produce up to 1 billion tablets a year (up from 50 million), making Metrics a great choice for development clients who need the same level of quality and attention for their small–scale commercial manufacturing. At Metrics, both services can now be performed under one roof.

Our capacity for Stability Studies has increased by 50%. Along with the superior reliability and security you’ve come to expect from Metrics, we can now provide additional flexibility to meet client demand more quickly. Of course, all chambers are in a secure location and are fully redundant, insuring adequate backup.

Space for microbiology services has increased five–fold with the opening of our new Microbiology laboratory. Plus, we can now perform sterility and bacterial endotoxin testing as well as antimicrobial assay. This new space has enhanced our particulate matter services and offers full support of parenterals.

Next up? The opening of our new, state–of–the–art potent and cytotoxic drug development facility in early 2009.

We hope you’ve enjoyed this brief tour of our expanded facilities. We invite you to learn more about Metrics, our services and our people. Please speak with our representatives and veteran scientists. We’ll be glad to tell you how Metrics can contribute to your project’s success.
